10 Things We Learned From Jon Moxley On Talk Is Jericho

9. Why He Refused To Feel Sorry For Himself

...much bigger.

Both Jericho and Jon agreed that feeling sorry for themselves mid-pandemic would've been selfish. They were still being paid to work their dream jobs, and they knew people could use some entertainment during an uncertain, distressing time. That's why Mox refused to feel sorry for himself "for even one second".

The real-life world situation looked grim, so how could he complain about being AEW World Champion? Tony Khan couldn't put money through the tills by selling tickets, and that meant workers had to graft in front of exactly nobody for a while. "Big deal", thought Jon.

Jericho seemed to respect that attitude. It showed that Moxley isn't all wrapped up in himself, and he didn't get butt hurt about the fact that his first AEW Title reign wouldn't be perfect. This was an imperfect situation for everybody, and he still had a means to make money.

That's a thoroughly decent outlook on things.
