10 Things We Learned From Kane On Talk Is Jericho
6. He Thinks Roman Reigns Is "The Real Deal"
Everyone knows that WWE wrestlers are contractually obliged to make Roman look strong whenever they're in the ring with him, but no-one ever said anything about putting him over outside of it.
Granted, no Vince McMahon employee with a functioning brain is going to go bad mouthing his new franchise player publicly unless they plan on joining the unemployment line the following week, but Kane actually made a good point re: The Big Dog.
He said that, though stubborn fans tend to instinctively boo him when he initially enters the ring, he more often than not confounds expectations by putting on good - and, if conditions permit it, great - matches.
You can't really argue with that, and while it's unlikely that The Big Red Machine, being the class act that he is, would ever criticise a colleague in front of the world, he didn't have to go out of his way to praise him in such glowing terms.
