That's not to say that Martha wouldn't agree to a non-WWE appearance if it paid tribute to her husband.

She loved her time in Japan with Owen, and noted that New Japan was always so good to both of them whenever he was working there. That's when Jericho, ever the businessman, broached the subject of Martha showing up in NJPW to honour her husband's legacy and hard work in the country.

Martha seemed a bit taken aback by this, but said she'd definitely "entertain" the thought. She never imagined that New Japan would want to wheel her out to talk about Owen or receive applause from respectful fans on his behalf. Jericho is likely right when he says the promotion would be all over it.

She named several New Japan higher-ups and wrestlers during the interview (hinting that she grew close to those who treated the family well). Jericho might've just opened doors for some sort of Owen Hart tribute show in NJPW someday. That'd be special.
