5. Doing Commentary
Y2J asks Renee if she works a lot with NXT, including doing commentary, and she replies that she was but she's not doing commentary anymore, only going down there to do the panels for their live events. He asks how she liked sitting behind the desk and she says that she liked it, enjoying doing it on NXT more than on Superstars, because the latter was always a little bit difficult because there's not really stories behind the matches. Young says she prefers doing three-man booths because he strong suit is "chiming in random BS of facts about Alpha Flight or Mick Jagger's ties and scarves and stuff." She calls NXT a lot of fun and says it's a very good product with great people and that there's a sense of discovery as a performer there, because you have the freedom of experimentation, and that's what she loved about doing commentary there. Jericho asks if there was someone in her ear providing guidance during her time on Superstars, and she replies "not really" adding that every now and then Michael Cole would send her a text asking "What the hell are you talking about?" For the most part, however, it was kind of a free-for-all.
