Ryback claims that Vince McMahon made numerous unfulfilled promises to him over the years, including his original plans for WrestleMania 32.

According to the former Nexus member, he was told by Vince McMahon that Ryback would "squash that little twerp" AJ Styles at WrestleMania in Dallas. On the podcast, both Ryback and Pat Buck remarked how unfortunate this was, not just because the most recent lie supposedly told to Ryback, but because of the manner in which Vince McMahon spoke of AJ Styles, implying an out-of-touch mentality.

Obviously, things changes and Ryback ended up facing Kalisto at WrestleMania, but on a match that was bumped to the pre-show. Ryback went from a squash victory over the Phenomenal One to a clean loss to a superstar that had one of the worst US Title reigns in recent memory and isn't currently doing anything of note in WWE.

Even at the time he was told of these plans, Ryback didn't believe it. Given the excitement that followed AJ's arrival into the company at the Royal Rumble, Ryback knew that it was unlikely things would work out the way Vince McMahon had promised him. Still though, Reeves was rightfully upset when Vince allegedly went back on his word since that was another example of a broken promise by Vince McMahon.

The biggest is yet to come...
