10 Things We Learned From Sasha Banks On Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions

5. Being A Heel “Isn’t Natural”

Deep down, Sasha is a good egg.

As referenced in the intro, the first half of her appearance on 'Broken Skull Sessions' is slightly mired by her arrogance and kayfabe-ish comments. There's a simple reason for that: Banks projects her 'Legit Boss' character loudly because she fears people walking all over her if she doesn't.

Once Austin pierced her need to put up a shield, Sasha relaxed. That really helped the interview, and it stopped Banks from coming across as unlikeable. That might sound harsh, but it's true - early on, she kinda' came out looking like an egotistical jerk who believed her sh*t didn't stink. The truth is somewhat different.

Incredibly, Sasha actually preferred being babyface on the indy scene. WWE's ruthless system (and probably the bullying she experienced backstage) changed that. Now, she prefers being heel and wears those characteristics like a suit of armour.

They could've spent 90 minutes exploring this psyche alone.
