When discussing WWE's awful handling of The Ascension on the main roster, our chat with Orlando then turned to WWE's views on tag team wrestling as a whole. And from Colón, he stated how "they don't really believe in tag team wrestling."

Elaborating, the one-time WWE Tag Team Champion added, "I was told that from the moment I arrived in FCW. It's just a business decision. Tag teams cost more. Instead of fighting one guy, you have to fight two guys. To put [on] one match, you have to pay four guys."

While WWE refuses to give tag team wrestling the respect that it deserves, Orlando is happy to see that All Elite Wrestling is at least showing some love for tag action.

As this tag team specialist put it, "I knew from the get-go that tag team wrestling wasn't going to be given the spotlight that it should get, the respect that it should get. But I'm happy that somebody else is doing it - AEW's doing it, giving tag team wrestling it's spotlight, the justice that it deserves."

Going further, Orlando believes that it would take something akin to the Women's Revolution for tag team wrestling to become a priority for WWE, and he also had praise for how The Revival made the stand to depart WWE over the company's handling of tag team wrestling.
