From women being able to compete in the UFC to the Four Horsewomen in NXT, there have been multiple stories on how women’s wrestling changed from the former Barbie doll style of the Diva’s era to how three women headlined WrestleMania 35.

This documentary offers another possibility of how the change manifested. Containing such talent as Paige, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks, FCW had its share of the finest women wrestlers from around the world.

Realistically, this was before the Women’s Revolution was ever discussed, and FCW closed its doors before UFC held its first women’s bout. However, it appears likely that the initial seeds for how WWE presents women’s wrestling were sown in this developmental territory.
