Nothing ruins WWE comedy quite like a McMahon, but 'Shane-O-Mac' wasn't totally to blame for the collapse of Breezango as an entertaining and (partially) credible unit.

In a Fashion Files edition sub-headed 'The Final File', Breeze and Fandango assumed the Commissioner wanted their badges and guns following their failure to unseat The Usos at Sunday's Backlash pay-per-view.

The dejected challengers still brought the comedy gold, with Fandango in particular having superb chemistry with the confused gaffer ('Their 'Day One' was more H than ours') as they set up camp in his office.

The sight gags were typically on point, with Tony Chimmel singled out for 'so many' chins, as well as an image of Shane's 'Mean Street Posse' buddies listed as 'Wanted For Gang Activities' and the original Fashion Plate Freddie Blassie posted as a 'Genius'.

Despite McMahon setting singles clashes with The Usos for the pair (more on that later) and re-instilling confidence in the fallen challengers, this had the hallmarks of WWE putting the angle, and presumably their further development, to bed.

With what followed later in the broadcast, it's tough to assess if the characters can be saved, but it would be a crying shame to see the back of these delightfully silly, escapist skits. With wafer-thin plots elsewhere and dearth of entertainment on both shows, The Fashion Files was a weekly thrill.
