10 Things We Learned From VICE’s Dark Side Of The Ring: Dino Bravo

10. Dino's Family Has Never Spoken Until Now

VICE

This VICE documentary is the first time Dino's family had spoken about his passing, at least publicly through the media. Both Claudia Bresciano (his daughter) and Diane Rivest (his widow) found it understandably difficult to talk about their memories of a man they called a father and husband.

Some of their talking heads parts are very grim.

There are a few fleeting smiles here and there, particularly when Claudia looks at pictures of Dino in his prime, but most of their comments come with floods of tears. This is clearly something Bravo's family will never get over - nobody can blame them for that. They've got every right to be depressed about what happened.

It is incredible that VICE managed to interview the pair at all. They've only spoken to police about Dino's death since he passed in 1993, and it was never a given that they'd be up for revisiting horrible memories for some crime doc series here.
