10. His Dad Stabbed And Shot His Mother

New Jack's dad was dead by the time he was five years old, but there's no remorse for him in the documentary. As a toddler, Jack watched his father stab his mother five times in front of the entire family. Then, when she tried to leave with the kids, he shot her in the back of the leg.

That's so grim.

The subject of mental health is broached throughout VICE's interview with Jack, and it mainly comes into play when he's describing the scars of childhood - he didn't have some happy upbringing, and he claims bad experiences as a kid are why he "flips out sometimes". He's mentally scarred for life by what he witnessed.

Hearing about his father's behaviour makes Jack's later acts of violence inside a wrestling ring all the more bothersome. He, whether he wanted to be or not, was directly influenced by what he saw as a kid. It's seriously harrowing to hear him admit that.
