3. Benoit's Chilling Internet Searches

Credit where credit is due: Randazzo did his research for that Benoit book. He revealed some eerie internet searches Chris had conducted shortly before taking his own life.

After murdering Nancy and Daniel across the weekend, Benoit sat down at his computer and Google'd a story about the prophet Elijah from the Bible. Specifically, Chris was interested in a tale regarding the resurrection of a young boy from the Old Testament. That wasn't his only search that afternoon.

Soon after Elijah, Benoit tried to find out the "quickest and most painless way" one could break their own neck. That becomes even more alarming when learning that he'd hang himself using a weight machine in his basement gymnasium. This entire portion of the doc is seriously depressing, so be warned if you watch.

Vickie Guerrero points out how horrifying it is that Benoit continued living in the house for a day or two after killing his family. It's perhaps even more distressing that he'd also Google search religious scripture on how he could bring Daniel back to life, then sought out info on suicide.
