10 Things We Learned From Week Two Of WWE's XFL

2. There's Room For Some WWE Crossover

If critics were expecting to blast Vince McMahon for using the relaunched XFL as a vehicle to promote WWE, then it looks like they're out of luck. McMahon, uncharacteristically, has shown a lot of restraint. There's next-to-no WWE crossover with his new football project.

This is something that should change over the coming weeks.

It makes sense for the XFL to promote WWE programming, especially on FOX, and nobody should have a problem if wrestling inserts eventually get sprinkled throughout broadcasts. Why wouldn't McMahon cross-promote? He runs the risk of missing out on some new fans if he doesn't.

Maybe something simple, like having a handful of wrestlers in attendance for games, would suffice here. Or, if that seems like too much and would steal spotlight from the actual players pulling on helmets, then WWE could get by with some video packages hyping upcoming events.
