10 Things We Learned From Week Two Of WWE's XFL

8. Games Are Still Long

This is the most minor of complaints from someone who loves football, but it might be an ongoing concern for some.

Generally, games still aren't much quicker in the XFL when compared to their NFL counterparts. That was something many spotted during the league's opening week, and it's not something McMahon, Oliver Luck or anyone else with power moved to fix before Week 2.

Most matchups are clocking in at around the three hour mark. This makes a mockery of pre-launch claims that the XFL would be “faster” than the established NFL TV format. Overall, when commercial breaks, timeouts and other stoppages are taken into consideration, the XFL is pretty standard.

If Vince wants to grab the attention of casual fans who don't care about analysis or want a quicker product, then this needs to change. There isn't going to be much sympathy for NFL bashing if his XFL is almost identical in terms of game time.
