Can someone actually be happy after breaking their neck? Maybe not, but Kaitlyn does confess on 24 that a tiny part of her looked on the bright side following Drew's calamitous injury in 2016. Her man got eight full weeks at home, which felt like a lifetime considering she'd been seeing him "maybe one week out of every month" for a while.

McIntyre's indy schedule was relentless, and so was his desire to prove that he could be one of the biggest stars in the industry. That drive didn't leave much time for other things, and he was rarely home. So, Kaitlyn was secretly a bit relieved that he was able to unwind (as much as a guy can unwind with a broken neck) and re-evaluate his priorities.

Drew spent those eight weeks chilling out with her, their cats and discussing where his life was headed with his family. It was a crucial period, one that brought he and Kaitlyn closer together. She'll always be thankful that they were able to share that personal growth.

Incredible.
