The importance of that title win at Survivor Series 2001 cannot be overstated. It was a massive night for Trish personally, and it was one she viewed as her "one chance" to show the company and her peers why she deserved to be taken seriously as an actual wrestler, not just a valet or sexy distraction.

It didn't help that she was the least experienced in a 'Six Pack Challenge' that also involved Lita, Ivory, Jazz, Molly Holly and Jacqueline. They, as Lita outright stated, weren't sold on Stratus as the leader of their division either, and so Trish knew she'd be one and done if she didn't live up to the billing.

That challenge was something she relished.

Those tears in her eyes after winning were very real. Trish was proud of her performance in the match, and she described the celebration as a release of pressure. Following Chyna, who had recently left the company, as the female figurehead wasn't easy.
