10 Things We Learned From WWE 24: Trish Stratus

3. Charlotte Flair Was At Ringside In 2004

That fresh-faced young woman looking on from ringside is none other than Charlotte Flair. The future female superstar was gripped by Trish's match with Lita on 6 December 2004 episode of Raw, and 24 shows her watching from the front row as both women headlined the show for the first time.

Wrestling is weird sometimes.

Nobody, including Trish and Charlotte, could've known back then that Flair would go on to become a fine choice as the final opponent for Stratus. Charlotte was only in attendance as a guest of her father Ric, and she wasn't involved in the industry or training at all back in '04.

There's a cool pan-out shot in the doc that shows Charlotte admiring a Hurricanrana spot Trish and Lita worked towards the end of their main event. It's actually surprising that WWE didn't make a bigger deal about that one before SummerSlam this past August.
