10 Things We Learned From WWE 24: WrestleMania Orlando
9. Every Superstar Is A Huge Mark For WWE
The fact today's WWE superstars are wide-eyed devotees of the product is not exactly a secret worthy of Edward Snowden. It's a generation of grapplers who grew up during the business' Golden Era - some, amazingly, throughout the Attitude era - and the vast majority dreamed of one day walking down the aisle of the big 'E. Especially, presumably, Big E.
But just how awestruck the current roster are at achieving their own ambitions is laid bare in documentaries of this nature. Everybody is on standby for selfies with the set, Kevin Owens and Big Cass (remember him?) exchange memories of being at the Citrus Bowl nine years prior, and Alexa Bliss is positively giddy at the prospect of her face printed on a seat. Finally the reality of a sweaty arse rubbing against it could come true.
Can you imagine The Ultimate Warrior or Rick Rude giving one single toss about the 'occasion'? Many of those guys couldn't even remember which show was WrestleMania - but we bet they could recall the pay packet.
