AJ Styles' series of matches with Shinsuke Nakamura earlier this year could never hope to match the ludicrously high expectations placed upon it, and ultimately, it didn't. The denouement of the programme finally came at Money in the Bank, a 31-minute slog after which most fans, disappointed and disheartened, were glad the pair's beef was over.

Although there's no explaining the lack of chemistry between AJ and Shinsuke for their previous three matches, he deserves enormous credit for going half an hour in June's blowoff. It turns out that he was working with a torn hamstring and, like all silly billy wrestlers, refused to take time off to recover. What a pro.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
