10 Things We Learned From WWE Chronicle: Sasha Banks

6. The 4 (Life) Horsewomen

Sasha Banks
WWE

A sweet moment in a story with several sour spots, Sasha's moment with an image of the Four Horsewomen's famous Brooklyn 2015 Curtain Call is legitimately lovely.

Lamenting how much she needed wrestling as "her" thing in a difficult upbringing, Banks seemed at ease acknowledging how vital the quartet have all been for each other during their individual and group struggles on the main roster.

This was refreshing - wrestling's torn apart friendships, unions and marriages in the past. The fact that these four have managed to keep themselves tied together is a credit to all of them, particularly with them all suffering at the hands of a fickle organisation in between their remarkable success stories.

One thing held firm from this too - the four in particular know exactly what they've contributed not just to WWE but to North American wrestling and women's wrestling in general. They'd made history long before WWE advertised the fact again and again, and will be reflected as such long after their times have passed.
