10 Things We Learned From WWE Raw (May 29)

2. Truth Goes Hollywood

After a return to his original movie-going sociopath persona last week, Goldust was again laser-focused in verbally taking down R-Truth to cement the dissolution of their undercard union.

Quoting classic 1960 slasher 'Psycho', Goldust discussed reaching his breaking point following Golden Truth's run of losses before his heel turn. Again establishing that he was back in the 'Director's Chair', the 'Bizarre One' knocked out a few more cinematic analogies in another assured display that has actually done much to hype a wholesale return to the sinister portrayal.

Truth was remarkably given an opportunity to retort this week, interrupting the 'Shattered Dreams Production' an exploitation-themed verbal assault of his own.

'I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?' opened Goldust's former partner, paying homage to Pulp Fiction in his own Hollywood takedown. Predictably closing on the emotive biblical lines Samuel L. Jackson would utter before executing some poor schmuck, Truth mixed the film silliness with a genuinely serious message about exacting revenge on his former partner.

As with their final run as a team before the severance two weeks ago, the feud itself may have a surprising amount of steam if kept to the standard of these opening vignettes.
