10 Things We Learned From WWE Untold: Sting

3. He Also Thought Sting Tore His ACL A Minute In

Watch the WrestleMania 31 match back again and you'll see Sting falling to the canvas awkwardly after a Triple H right hook. The bump was planned, but the Stinger tweaking his left knee wasn't. Pause things at the right moment and you'll also spot Trips looking rather fearful that he'd injured his dance partner.

Suddenly, all those worries about Sting's time off started to flood back into Triple H's brain. He genuinely thought Sting might've tore his ACL less than one minute in to their 18-minute encounter. To everyone's immense relief, he hadn't; Sting's foot had merely caught a bulge in the mat for a second.

That's why he fell so strangely rather than bumping cleanly right on his back. The above screenshot, taken from the doc, also shows referee Charles Robinson sporting some concern. He, as a former WCW colleague of Sting's, maybe feared the worst too.

Panic over.
