10 Things We Need To See At WrestleMania 33
9. Something For Luke Harper
Over on the SmackDown brand, Luke Harper finds himself in a similar position to that of Braun Strowman, in that he’s managed to build himself a nice head of steam in recent weeks, and yet he still looks to be without any plans for WrestleMania 33.
Again, like Strowman, it would be a shame not to strike while the iron is hot, and so it’s important that he at least has a respectable role at the show. Especially after last year’s Wyatt Family fiasco…
That may mean a spot in that André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Although, if Strowman does end up joining the field, that’s hardly going to do Harper any favours.
Instead, it could come down to Harper having some kind of involvement in the SmackDown main event between Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship. His history with both men makes for an easy tie-in as far as a storyline goes, though there are obvious negatives in that he’d likely only be there to take the pin.
Ultimately, it may be his only option, but regardless of how it eventually plays out, this man is deserving of a decent spot on the card.
