10 Things WWE Are Getting Dead Wrong At The Moment
8. Ignoring The Cruiserweights

Another sad state of affairs right now can be found among the Cruiserweight ranks. When 205 Live started, the show was an awesome way to get those wrestlers some screen time and showcase their phenomenal athletic ability. Having it as its own separate brand definitely hurt it, however. With the title still active, there should be way more effort being put in to get these guys over.
One quick solution would be to throw the legend of all Cruiserweights, Rey Mysterio, into the mix. With Rey as champ, the entire division will get a boost in exposure, and the person who dethrones Mysterio is guaranteed a decent rub. The masked legend would also be able to pass down his gift for in-ring storytelling and psychology. While things have improved over the course of the purple title's existence, the 'spot monkey' tag still looms over the competitors.
WWE should take the time to provide some crossover with the 'main card' stars. If the Cruiserweights are better integrated into the show, rather than keeping them on their own island, everybody wins. Have a monster like Braun Strowman wreck house after a Cruiserweight bout before his match for taking too long, and the smaller wrestlers team up to take down the behemoth.
