10 Things WWE Did Right At TLC 2014

1. Dolph Ziggler Stole The Show With Luke Harper

For the second straight PPV, Dolph Ziggler was the biggest star of the night. His match with Luke Harper that opened the PPV portion of the show was the match of the night. While it wasn't a match of the year contender, it was definitely close and something that we should remember for a long time. Harper doesn't look a traditional wrestling superstar, but if you watch him in the ring there's really nothing he can't do. He flies around the ring like a man that is much smaller than 265 pounds and he makes it look easy too. Harper's the perfect mix of power and speed while also showing an ability to take physical bumps all over the ring. Ziggler's rise back up the ranks has been a lot of fun to watch. He may not be considered a top guy right now as the Intercontinental Champion, but if he's allowed to have 20 minute PPV matches on a consistent basis then he can certainly reach that level. What WWE needs to do going forward is give their wrestlers that kind of time to have these matches whether they open the PPV or they take place in the middle of the show. Nobody can "steal the show" in a seven minute match, but if you give them time then it might happen. It wasn't a great PPV, but check out Ziggler vs. Harper if you missed it.
