10 Things WWE Did Right At WrestleMania 31

1. The Crowning Of A New WWE Champion Was A True WrestleMania Moment

What a moment to end the night. You know how at the end of the year we try to rank the most memorable moments? It's unlikely that the end of WrestleMania is going to be topped. It was something that a lot of us had thought about: the possibility of a Money in the Bank cash-in by Seth Rollin to win the WWE Title. It was there in our minds, but not everybody thought it would happen. When Rollins ran out there, both Lesnar and Reigns were down. Rollins tried to capitalize on the situation. It actually looked like Lesnar might hit a F5 on him, pin him and retain, which would have put over Lesnar huge. Instead, WWE went another way with Rollins capitalizing on Reigns hitting a Spear on Lesnar and then Rollins nailed a Curb Stomp to beat Reigns. Brilliant finish. It also sets up the future so well because Rollins can have PPV Title defenses against the likes of Lesnar, Reigns, Orton, Cena, Bryan, Ambrose and others in the future. Nobody is going to forget that finish. WWE always talks about "WrestleMania moments" every year. It doesn't get much bigger than that one. WrestleMania will be remembered as a show that had a lot of low expectations going into it, but by the end of the night they had given us several moments we will never forget. When it's the last moment that is most memorable, that's when you know they hit a home run and delivered something special. It will always be remembered as the night where Seth Rollins ascended the throne to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
