You had a feeling going into WrestleMania 32 that the match pitting Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch for the re-instituted WWE Women's Championship could steal the show, if given time. Clocking in around 16 minutes, all three ladies performed admirably, and although it wasn't quite to the level of some NXT womens' fare, it was enough for most to consider it match of the night by a comfortable margin.

There are those that say that much of the main roster can't touch the NXT women at their best, and they were proven right. As soon as Charlotte exited with her newly-minted belt, the participants in the remaining matches spontaneously agreed to not even try. If their best efforts were to fall short to the womens' triple threat, it might have bruised some egos. Thus, the best course for the second-halvers was to go half-speed and cut bait for the night.
