In the end, everyone goes to WWE.

That's not a quote, but it should be. One of Impact Wrestling's last remaining originals is reportedly set to sign on the dotted line for Vince McMahon's operation, according to Mike Johnson of PW Insider. At 45 years of age, Abyss (who has consistently answered questions like, "When are you going to WWE?" in interviews for well over a decade) is finally close to securing a deal.

His age makes a full-time stab in-ring unlikely, but his 20+ years of experience should come in handy at the Performance Center, in NXT and beyond. Make no mistake: Abyss has seen some sh*t, and he's got tales of Mexico, Puerto Rico and the gruelling indy scene of yesteryear under his belt.

The big man did almost everything there was to do in TNA. He was a hardcore maniac who worked blood-soaked brawls, he was a sympathetic and misunderstood monster figure, and he even got a shot of Hulk Hogan's WWE Hall Of Fame ring.

Here's everything strict WWE fans need to know about his career...
