NXT fans may have only recently become familiar with her, but Becky Lynch made her professional wrestling debut back in 2002, when she was just 15 years old. Calling herself Rebecca Knox (as she did for the entirety of her pre-NXT career), she made a name for herself not just in Ireland, but in the French promotion Queens of Chaos, the British One Pro Wrestling, and German Stampede Wrestling. In Canada, Lynch wrestled for SuperGirls (the women's division of what was then NWA's Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling) and became the first SuperGirls champion, holding the title for more than 300 days. In the United States, she appeared in ChickFight, New England Championship Wrestling and, most famously, Shimmer Women Athletes. She has also wrestled in Wales, Scotland, and Japan. Every time Lynch wrestles a match in NXT, viewers can see her veteran experience in every move she makes in the ring.
