SHIMMER Women Athletes is by far the most well-known and prestigious independent women's wrestling promotion in the United States. Current stars like Natalya, Paige, Emma, and Bayley have all worked for SHIMMER in the past, and the current female head trainer of NXT, Sara Amato, made her name in SHIMMER as Sara Del Rey, the promotion's most dominant wrestler and the first-ever SHIMMER Champion. Debuting at SHIMMER's Volume 3 DVD taping, Lynch, along with Del Rey and other SHIMMER originals like Cheerleader Melissa, Daizee Haze, and Mercedes Martinez, helped build the company from the ground up and make it what it is today. Unfortunately, Lynch's time in SHIMMER was brief, largely due to injuries that threatened to derail her career, but in early 2006, she was a key part of the promotion that put American women's wrestling on the map.
