10 Things WWE Fans Need To Know About Jeremy Borash

1. Borash Helped Create 'Broken' Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy completely reinvented himself in 2016 as 'Broken'. The character was so out there that even fans who didn't watch TNA anymore couldn't resist seeing what all the fuss was about. That's the sign of something special, and it changed Matt's career for the better.

Less than a year later, he was back in WWE and has since reverted back into the gimmick, albeit as 'Woken' not 'Broken'.

Jeremy Borash is often credited as being the brains behind the character in Impact Wrestling. His creative direction and endless ideas were said to be the driving force. To his own credit, Borash distanced himself from the acclaim during an interview with Jim Ross in late-December. Instead of taking the glory, JB said he and Matt had "brilliant chemistry".

That's modest. Watching the vignettes for 'Final Deletion' and beyond, it's clear to see Borash's outside-the-box thinking at play. Combined with Matt Hardy's own vision, Jeremy's creativity was powerful. We'd love to see that happen again in WWE.
