10 Things WWE Fans Need To Know About Ricochet
9. He Can Do A Double Rotation Moonsault
About 25 years ago, the sight of Shawn Michaels performing a moonsault was enough to leave punters picking their jaws up off the floor. It was the very height of wrestling athleticism in an era when most of the industry's leading figures could barely do a hand-stand.
These days, it takes a little more to impress the average wrestling fan. That's why Neville, with his Red Arrow, and Mustafa Ali, with his inverted 450 Splash, have to risk breaking their neck at the end of every match to put their opponents away.
Ricochet, however, arguably has both of them beat. The 29-year-old is capable of a double moonsault, whereby he performs two rotations in mid-air before landing snugly on his opponent's front. It's an incredible feat that you really have to see to believe.
Whether WWE allow him to pull this out on the regular remains to be seen, but it seems unlikely that it will be prohibited. For the most part, it's piledriver-type moves which put the recipient's head in harm's way that they oppose - flips generally get the green-light.
