The debut of AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble was about as hot of a start as possible in WWE. He came in at number three, battled with Roman Reigns, eliminated two people, and lasted nearly half an hour. Still, there were question marks over how much WWE would push him in his Raw career. He's old and isn't the typical WWE body or style. So it has been a pleasant surprise to see how positively WWE have presented him in the last few months. They've focused on his history and gave him ample opportunities to show what he's about. The result is that he's gotten over, helped along by some great matches with Chris Jericho and a heated storyline rivalry.
