When WWE does get behind a talent, they go all in.

If anything, Neville's push, as well-booked as it has been performed, has been too effective. He is leagues better than anything and anybody else on 205 Live - so much so that he could parachute into any major programme of note and not look out of place. He isn't moving the needle because there's too much up against it, not least of which the unfathomable time slot.

Braun Strowman has been built so expertly that he has withstood multiple losses to Roman Reigns that, for example, many of John Cena's opponents could not. He has been consistently portrayed as the Monster Among Men he is billed as with his riotous bouts of backstage destruction. This isn't an endless, tedious Vladimir Kozlov run of squashes; Strowman is an agent of chaos, and the OTT nature of the character is something that could only exist in WWE's exaggerated universe. He's a genuine WWE success story, as opposed to a guy whose name value WWE has incorporated.

They can still make 'em.
