10 Things WWE Must Do This Summer

1. Re-Stock NXT

A prior slide talked about the importance of bringing a few of the NXT women up to the main roster, but at the same time, WWE's developmental system is looking a bit thin at the moment. With Sami Zayn and Hideo Itami out with injuries, and Kevin Owens most likely leaving the minor leagues soon, they're going to need some new, talented blood to keep the momentum going. NXT is now on the road, and has more of a positive buzz than Raw and SmackDown do. Fortunately for WWE, TNA talents seem to be available left and right. But for some reason, with the exception of Samoa Joe, they've been largely adverse to hiring the former stars of Impact Wrestling. Perhaps Joe has opened that door, and right now would be a great time to bring some more wrestlers in. Magnus could be a future star on the main roster, Austin Aries is an indie darling who could deliver great matches with younger talent, and James Storm is a stellar talker, but hasn't been given much of a chance to show off his skills in a coherent storyline . These are talent who could make us forget about all the losses in no time. It's unfortunate for any wrestler to lose work, but perhaps WWE could make the best of it and pick up some new names from across the globe. Keep NXT strong, and the future will look bright once HHH takes over the reigns. There's still time for the company to make this a summer to remember. Now let's go hit the beach!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
