10 Things WWE Did Right At Battleground

3. The SummerSlam Lineup Was Set Up Very Well

The one thing that can be taken away from Battleground is that four of the matches we saw on Sunday are likely going to take place at SummerSlam as well. Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose will likely happen at SummerSlam since WWE didn't do it at Battleground. Perhaps WWE has waited too long to get around to it, but the heat for that match in Los Angeles should be enormous. Bray Wyatt should face off with Chris Jericho again to try to avenge his defeat at Battleground. When Jericho came back a month ago there were reports that he did so to have a SummerSlam match with Wyatt and probably put him over. It looks like a go. Since Rusev's match with Jack Swagger ended in a countout win by Rusev, there will likely be another match at SummerSlam. The fans are really starting to get behind Swagger although it seems unlikely that Rusev would lose to him since he has an undefeated streak going in singles matches. Paige lost to AJ Lee, but she has shown signs of doing a slow burn heel turn for the last month. In order for a rematch to take place she will probably have to turn leading up to SummerSlam as a way to justify another match. All PPVs should be special on their own, but it's no surprise that WWE would use this event to try to build up the "biggest party of the summer" either.
