Sheamus defeated The Miz rather easily to retain the US Title. He even kicked out of The Miz' Skull Crushing Finale finishing move, which barely drew a reaction. That just shows how far The Miz has fallen as a serious wrestler if his finishing move doesn't make people believe that he's going to win a match. The story of the match, as well as any Miz match, were the hijinks of Damien Sandow as Damien Mizdow outside the ring. The fans were chanting for him while the camera focused on him bumping around on the floor while Miz was getting beat up. It's ridiculous, but it's funny. Even the post match stuff with Sandow miming everything that Sheamus was doing with Miz was pretty good. The YMCA stuff might have been a little much. When Sandow turns face it's going to be a big deal. The fans are ready to cheer for him. The Miz is doing a solid job as a heel, but Sandow is getting all of his heat right now. They'll probably be breaking up very soon. Hopefully the US Title becomes a priority for WWE one day. Right now it's a joke that's not as funny as Sandow.
