9. Goldust & Stardust As New Tag Champs Was A Strong Opener
It's always a good move to put The Usos in the opening match of a PPV because they are the most entertaining team in WWE. All of their matches are good and when they get the chance to have more time on a PPV they almost always deliver a quality match. While this match against Stardust & Goldust wasn't as good as some of the Usos matches with Luke Harper & Erick Rowan, it was enjoyable for the most part. The win by Goldust & Stardust was the result of the Rhodes Brothers outsmarting their opponents. Once Jey Uso received the hot tag he was on fire and it looked like he was going to bring home the win for the Usos, but then Stardust was able to make a smart counter. When Jey went to the top rope for a big splash, Stardust got his knees up, Jey went right into them, grabbed his ribs in pain and then Stardust rolled him up for the win. He also grabbed the tights although the announcers really didn't pick up on that part of it. Now that a heel team is holding the tag titles it changes things up a bit. Who will they defend the gold against? The Usos will obviously get another title shot. After that, the babyface side is pretty thin. What we could see is the NXT duo of Adrian Neville & Sami Zayn working together as a babyface team. They would be the perfect kind of challengers for the heel brothers.
