10 Things WWE Did Right At SummerSlam

5. Seth Rollins And Dean Ambrose Leave Us Wanting More Again

When this feature was written after Battleground last month, one of the points was that even though Rollins/Ambrose didn't have a match at that show they left us wanting more. That's what they did this month even after they had an entertaining match. What was unique about this match is that they really didn't go through the motions of a regular match in the ring. It was a Lumberjack Match where they involved the lumberjacks much more than we usually see. Ambrose wasn't shy about attacking them multiple times. They also were terrible lumberjacks because they did a bad job of keeping the guy in the ring. The whole point of the lumberjacks was to keep Rollins from running away and eventually they did, but it took a while to get there. The win by Rollins was cheap. They could have done a DQ finish due to all of the interference like when Kane prevented Ambrose from winning, but it didn't happen. Ambrose was busy sending Harper & Rowan out of the ring, which led to Rollins hitting him in the head with the Money in the Bank briefcase for the win. The ref didn't see it, of course. There will be more matches between Rollins and Ambrose, which is a great thing. They should have a Hell in a Cell match at the October PPV. A Falls Count Anywhere type of brawl would be a lot of fun too. Let them have two or three more PPV matches. This feud deserves it.
