10. His Marriage And Divorce

However, there were a couple of times when Cena's wife was shown on television. If you're wondering, he married Elizabeth on July 11, 2009. The marriage lasted about three years because the divorce became official in July 2012. To WWE's credit and Cena's, they did their best to keep the divorce as private as they could. The couple had no children together. Cena's wife was acknowledged a couple of times on screen. There was an episode of Raw on March 5, 2012 when Cena delivered a fired up promo in BOston where plenty of his family and friends were at ringside. If you go to the 14:07 mark in the video above, you can see Cena greeting his wife and even mentioning her by name. Two months later, he filed for divorce. That's a shame. Cena's currently dating WWE diva Nikki Bella. It's not something WWE mentions on Raw, but if you watch Total Divas the couple is heavily featured on the show. They've even had Cena mention to Nikki that he has no interest in getting married or having kids. She seemed upset by that, but they're apparently still together. Should his personal life matter? No. However, as a public figure and the true face of WWE, people are always going to have an interest in Cena in the ring and outside of it as well.
