5. The Honkameter
WWE.comFollowing Santino's second IC Title reign, the Honkameter debuted. What's that? It was a counter that Santino asked for because he said he was going to break the Honky Tonk Man's record IC Title reign, which lasted 64 weeks or 454 days. Week after week we got these ridiculous segments with Santino talking about how he was going to break the record. There were people that actually thought it might happen just because WWE really didn't have anybody do it before where they said they would beat Honky Tonk Man's reign. The Honkameter even led to a match against Honky Tonk Man at Cyber Sunday 2008 after fans voted for HTM as his opponent. They bought into this silly storyline. Regal ended up beating Santino for the IC Title, which gave Santino a reign of 12 weeks. Once again it was such a waste of the once prestigious IC Title.
