10. Mean Gene Saying "F**k It" At SummerSlam 1989
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUR4osNWfQo At SummerSlam 1989, Tony Schiavone was handling the broadcast and he sent it backstage to "Mean" Gene Okerlund who was all set to interview "Ravishing" Rick Rude and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. As Gene was setting up the interview by mentioning The Ultimate Warrior, the "SummerSlam" sign behind them fell down. Oops. How did Gene react? With a very audible: "F**K It!" It was just a sign that was like two feet high. He probably should have just kept going with the interview, but after he cursed on camera and then turned his back to the camera they cut away from him. The broadcast just went to crowd shots. Jesse Ventura was funny on commentary with this quick remark: "I don't know what happened to that Gene Okerlund back there, but somebody's chasing him down. I like that." He was happy that somebody caused Okerlund to mess up like that. Swearing is fun. Accidental swearing by old guys is even more fun! It's also something that WWE wants you to forget.
