7. Michaels Vs. Sid Got Changed To Michaels Vs. Ramon Ladder Rematch At SummerSlam 1995

SummerSlam 1995 was a bad show. The main event of Diesel vs. Mabel is one of the worst PPV main events that WWE ever did. They knew it was a bad show too because they changed an advertised match. Shawn Michaels was the Intercontinental Champion in the summer of 1995. He also had a rivalry with Sid following WrestleMania 11 when Sid gave him several Powerbombs in a move that turned Michaels into a face. They were all set to face off in a match at SummerSlam that year to resolve their differences, but it didn't happen. It was advertised, though. Hbk V Sid The interim President of WWE (an on screen role) Gorilla Monsoon changed the match because he apparently did what the fans wanted. That's why he changed the match to a WrestleMania 10 rematch with Michaels defending the IC Title against his good friend Razor Ramon (also a babyface) in a ladder match. It turns out that it was the right decision. Michaels/Ramon in "Ladder Match Two" was an absolute classic and without that match on the show, SummerSlam 1995 would have been a lot worse.
