10. That Weird Tough Enough Moment

Bob 'Hardcore' Holly's rough treatment of Tough Enough III winner Matt Cappotelli sparked controversy online and lead to widespread condemnation of Holly as a 'bully' in 2003. Holly, for his part, has spoken out against Cappotelli for crying on television after the incident since it was, at the end of the day, 'just a black eye and a bloody lip'. Bill DeMott was one of the trainers on season three of Tough Enough and saw the whole incident unfold. When the group had a house meeting after the Holly episode, DeMott got serious for a minute and looked like he was about to break down in tears as he explained some things about life on the road. DeMott said:

'there are motherf*****s who are going to push your buttons...every night on the road, people push my buttons, I wanna kill 'em. Because as a man, I've swallowed more than my share. The bigger men swallow s*** that they don't wanna swallow. You can chose to beat it, or to let it beat you'

He gave this speech while looking like a man who was experiencing Vietnam flashbacks, such was the intensity of the look on his face and in his eyes.
