7. He Was Left Off WrestleMania 33
It's almost unheard of that a WWE wrestler can be in red hot form right around WrestleMania season and then end up being left off the card altogether - but that was a fate that befell poor Braun Strowman earlier this year.
The 33-year-old eliminated seven of his rivals in the Royal Rumble, and it took a comparable amount of competitors to end his stay in the match - but his WrestleMania options were suddenly limited when Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns became tied up in feuds with Goldberg and Undertaker respectively.
With nothing better to do, Strowman instead settled for a place in the Andre The Giant Memorial pre-show battle royal. But they didn't even let him in win that - in a match literally named after his own granddad.
