1. Shoot Interviews
Along with working indies and doing convention appearances/autograph signings, one venture for ex-WWE superstars is to do shoot interviews. Shoot interviews are uncensored, out-of-charactrer interviews where the participants openly speak about the behind-the-scenes workings of the wrestling business. One of the funniest and most revealing shoots of all time is the Highspots shoot with Paul London and Brian Kendrick from 2010. Under the influence of beer and marijuana, London and Kendrick tore into many top figures in the business including Triple H and Vince McMahon. They also share stories and opinions of many people they worked with during their time in the company. Whilst Paul London does most of the burying (Kendrick can be seen shaking his head in resignation of what's being said a lot of the time), Kendrick certainly doesn't hold back and isn't afraid to express his opinion or bury somebody if he feels it necessary. It's clear from the interview that London has no intention of ever working for WWE again. But Kendrick is currently working for WWE in some capacity and may be regretting his shoot interviews now that he has to report to the likes of Vince and Triple H. The shoots with London and Kendrick (part 2 came out in 2012) are undeniably funny, but they're not something that WWE will want their fans to see. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iJCuMAOnio
