Considering the current state of TNA, Ambrose is probably thanking his lucky stars that this tryout didn't lead to a full contract. For whatever reason, despite Dean putting in a good performance and being booked to go over his larger opponent, TNA decided to pass on this opportunity in late 2008. Just after picking up the win, you can just make out a heckler from the crowd yelling "go to WWE". Perhaps he was onto something...
