10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About JBL

7. Tying Up Charles Robinson

Billy Silverman wasn't the only referee who was the butt of JBL's bullying behavior. Charles Robinson, another official who joined the company after WCW was purchased, also found himself victimized by Layfield.

Robinson - who stands 5'6" and weighs 150 pounds - would hardly be a physical match for any wrestler on the roster, let alone the gigantic JBL. Apparently, that only made him a more attractive target. Back when the Invasion storyline was going on, during the set-up for a show, JBL once grabbed Robinson, stripped him of his clothes, tied him to a cart, and wheeled him around the arena during the show setup, letting all of the stagehands get a laugh in at the referee's expense.

Silverman detailed that story, as well as another manner in which his colleague was hazed - JBL made Robinson carry heavy bottles of alcohol through customs and airports during a European tour. When Robinson complained to management, he was simply told to go along with it, and assured that everything would be okay.

Carrying the heavy bags eventually led him to tear a muscle in his back, which of course meant that he couldn't do his job. He was forced to leave the tour.
