10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Lilian Garcia
2. Charlie Haas Nearly Breaks Her Neck
Getting ready for his match on the June 5, 2006 episode of Monday Night Raw, an exuberant Charlie Haas bounced into the ring and decided to run the ropes. This is common practice for wrestlers when inside the ring waiting on their match to begin, but Haas didn't see an unfortunate Lilian Garcia attempting to leave the ring. Lilian didn't get out of the way on time. What happened next must have been truly painful, as well as a little embarrassing for both. Haas inadvertently knocked Garcia from the ring apron and sent her crashing to the floor. Spraining her wrist, Lilian was lucky she didn't end up breaking her neck. The fall looked awkward, and resulted in a flustered Haas looking like he dearly regretted not paying attention to his surroundings. Incredibly, the incident was turned into a storyline the next week. Viscera, who was romantically linked to Lilian on-screen at the time, confronted Haas over what he had done. For his part, Charlie appeared genuinely apologetic over what had happened. Behind the scenes, Garcia and Haas patched things up, but it was an embarrassing incident to happen on live television. Dangerous, too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KR05qLcWabE
