Don't be so shocked to see the 'Love Triangle' involving Lita, Edge, and Matt Hardy falling so early on this list. The entire saga is almost like the elephant in the room when discussing anything about those people. Besides, WWE couldn't have been too bothered about it, because they penned a storyline selling the real-life drama to fans almost immediately.

Lita is painted as a classy veteran whenever she appears on WWE television nowadays. Watch her appearances as part of the pre-pay-per-view 'Kickoff' panels for proof of that, then contrast with her career in late 2005. You'll see a very different character.

From the moment her secret fling with Edge behind Hardy's back was made public, Lita was cast as a serial seductress on WWE TV. The stain of that persona has faded somewhat as years have rolled on, yet the sordid love affair isn't something WWE can just put in a box and ship off to sea hoping no-one will notice.
